You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning, around 5:30 AM, and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the Ngorongoro gate at Loduare, you will descend 600 meters into this magnificent crater for a day of game driving. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Supported by a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the crater sustains a vast variety of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site on the crater floor before continuing your game drive until late afternoon. Afterward, you will sign out at the gate and drive back to Moshi/Arusha for your overnight stay.
