2 Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Karatu

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha at 07:00 hrs and transferred to Tarangire National Park to begin your game viewing experience. This magnificent park is renowned for its large baobab trees, abundant wildlife, including one of the largest elephant populations in the country, and a wide variety of bird species.

After your tour of the park, you will be transferred to your lodge in Karatu, where you will spend the night.

Overnight at the Lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

3 Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we head towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—where vast, endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Our destination is the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River, which flows through this region, provides a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of wildlife, representative of many of the Serengeti’s species.

We arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.

After exploring the park, you will be transferred to your lodge for the night.

Overnight: At the Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

4 Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will spend the entire day on a game drive in Serengeti National Park, enjoying lunch at a picnic spot along the way. Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to witness the great migration, which includes hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles.

During the short rainy season in October and November, these herds typically move from the Kenyan Masai Mara through the northwest of the Serengeti to the plains in the south. After the long rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds gradually travel back through the western and northwestern parts of the Serengeti. Due to fluctuations in rainfall, this timetable can change, resulting in the animals migrating at different times and along different routes.

Your guide will do his utmost to locate the animals and ensure you can observe them from the best vantage points in the national park. Naturally, the migration also attracts predators, and with some luck, you might witness a kill in action.

You will spend the night at the same lodge.

Overnight: Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

5 Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Dawn is an excellent time to observe wildlife, so you will wake up early to join a morning game drive. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the park. In the Seronera region, you will often see wildebeests and zebras in close proximity to lions and other predators, such as leopards and cheetahs.

After a picnic lunch, you will continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay.

Overnight :Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

6 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Moshi/Airport

After an early breakfast, you will drive down the steep and narrow road into the crater. The slopes are initially forested, but soon the landscape transforms into savannah. The wildlife here is breathtaking, and with a bit of luck, you may observe the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and some of the more than 500 bird species found in the area.

After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the early afternoon for the drive back to Arusha/Moshi or Airport, where you will arrive in the early evening.

Overnight: Hotel
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch included.

7 Rest at the Hotel and Transfer to the Airport
